Manifestari Stiintifice

The International Conference on ENERGY and ENVIRONMENT (CIEM) is organised by  the Academy of Romanian Scientists, Shanghai Academy of Science & Technology and University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, in partnership with Universty of Ljublijana, "Gheorghe Asachi" Tehnical University of Iasi and World Energy Council - Romanian National Committee.

The aims of CIEM is to respond to challenges in the rapidly developing fields of Power Engineering and Environmental Engineering, and to inspire both research studies and practical applications by promoting interaction among scientists from universities, research institutions, and industry.

Like the previous events, the conference will provide an ideal venue for the development of new partnerships. Therefore companies, institutes and universities are invited to participate to CIEM 2017!

We look forward to welcoming you to Bucharest.

The 3rd UNI-SET Clustering Event (ECE) will take place on 21-23 November 2016 and will be hosted by the University Politehnica of Bucharest in Bucharest, Romania.

The event is the third of a series of UNI-SET “Energy Clustering Events” which will take place in 2016 and 2017 to discuss and stimulate the development of innovative research and education programmes in the energy field. The events seek to mobilise the European university community to tackle the “energy challenge” by fostering exchange and collaboration between researchers, educators and other stakeholders, framed by the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan) and the Energy Union.

The event in Bucharest will provide opportunities for clustering, consortia building and knowledge sharing. The main themes of the event, around which sessions will be programmed, are derived from a core priority of the SET-Plan:

‘The future smart EU energy system, with the consumer at the centre’ (Core priority 2)
The event is organised in the framework of the FP7 UNI-SET project, an action implemented jointly by the European University Association (EUA) and KU Leuven, representing the universities in KIC InnoEnergy. The UNI-SET ECEs are mainly intended for EUA member universities participating in the UNI-SET Universities Survey.

CIEM 2015 - Iasi, Romania

The International Conference on ENERGY and ENVIRONMENT (CIEM) is organised by  the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, "Gheorghe Asachi" Tehnical University of Iasi, WEC-Romanian National Committee in collaboration with the main Romanian companies, agencies and associations from the energy and environment sectors. The  Conference is  held under the auspices of Academy of Romanian Scientists.

The aims of CIEM is to respond to challenges in the rapidly developing fields of Power Engineering and Environmental Engineering, and to inspire both research studies and practical applications by promoting interaction among scientists from universities, research institutions, and industry.

Like the previous events, CIEM will provide an ideal venue for the development of new partnerships.

CIEM therefore invites companies, institutes and universities to present their services, products and/or literature at the Energy and Environment oriented Exhibition, witch will be held simultaneously with the Conference.

We look forward to welcoming you to Iasi.

Prof. Dr. Marius STOIA-DJESKA, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Polizu Street 1-7, postal code 011061, sector 1, Bucharest, Romania (email:safta.carmenanca@gmail.com; carmen-anca.safta@upb.ro; marius.stoia@gmail.com)

The Symposium on “Numerical and Experimental Modeling in Fluid-Structure Interaction” by INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF NUMERICAL ANALYSIS AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS 2015 (ICNAAM 2015) provides an opportunity for scientists and engineers to present recent advances, to discuss current problems and future prospects in the area of Fluid-Structure Interaction. The organizers of the Symposium on “Numerical and Experimental Modeling in Fluid-Structure Interaction” invite all the researchers in this field to present papers covering aspects of the numerical simulations and of the experimental techniques specific for FSI. We encourage the presentation of case studies occurring from different real-world problems encountered in power and aerospace engineering, wind engineering, bio-engineering and medical science, etc.

ACEMP-OPTIM-Electromotion

Introduction

Organizing committees of OPTIM and ACEMP conferences, have had discussions after the OPTIM’14 conference in May in Romania and have decided to make a serious attempt/effort to organize these conferences jointly in the future, thus increasing the quality, participation, international recognition and reputation of both conferences. On this occasion Electromotion is also joining this effort.

The first joint event will have the joint acronym ACEMP-OPTIM-Electromotion and this conference is planned to take place in Side, Southern coast of Turkey, between 2-4 September 2015.

In the true tradition of ACEMP and OPTIM once again the meeting has presentation by well known scientists of the electrical machines and power electronics area. We are looking forward to your participation to make this meeting a memorable occasion.
