The Local Organizing Committee takes pleasure in inviting you to the 11th “International Conference of Young Scientist on ENergy Issues” (CYSENI 2014), which will be held in Kaunas, Lithuania from 29th to 30th May, 2014.
The main goals of the 11th Conference is to convene the young researchers (undergraduate, MSc, PhD students, postdocs and all other young scientists) to the discussion on the contemporary energy issues; as well to develop their skills by discussing the relevant topics and presenting the recent research results.

The International Conference on ENERGY and ENVIRONMENT (CIEM) is organised by the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Institute for Studies and Power Engineering and WEC-Romanian National Committee in collaboration with the main Romanian companies, agencies and associations from the energy and environment sectors. The Conference is held under the auspices of Academy of Romanian Scientists.
Sendzimir Foundation invites students and professionals interested in sustainable development to apply for the XVI Summer Academy Challenges of Sustainable Development in Poland 2013. Deadline for applications: 4th of March 2013.
The course, held entirely in English, consists of two phases: 2-stage e-learning course and Summer Academy that takes place in Torun, central Poland. Participation in the e-learning phase is free of charge and open to applicants from anywhere in the world. Participation in the Summer Academy will be open to selected participants that proved the best alumni of the e-learning course and are residents of Central Eastern Europe and Baltic Sea Basin region. Participation in both the e-learning and the Academy is free of charge (Sendzimir Foundation covers all the related costs except travel to Torun).
